Editorial Policy
How we research, verify and publish everything on StudentWeb.
Verification first
Opportunities and bursaries are only published after their details have been checked against official sources. Each listing carries a last-verified date, and anything we could not confirm is shown as “Not confirmed” or omitted entirely — we never guess deadlines, requirements or links.
Independent editorial
Advertising and editorial are kept clearly separate. Advertisements, when enabled, are always distinguishable from listings and articles, and no payment influences what we publish.
Corrections
When something is wrong or out of date, we correct it promptly. If you spot an error, tell us via the Contact page and we'll review and update the listing or article.
Sensitive topics
Articles on mental health and wellbeing are written with responsible, evidence-informed language. We do not diagnose readers or promise cures, and we encourage professional support where it is appropriate.
